It’s that time of year again! Flowers and trees are blooming, the grass is turning green, there is pollen in the air, and unfortunately, allergies are running amuck. Because of this common springtime concern, antihistamines are a go-to for many people to curb their allergy symptoms, and sometimes they’re even used for our pets’ allergies as well. Despite what many pet owners may believe, “dog breath” is not just a nuisance – it’s a sign of an unhealthy mouth. Bad breath is caused by bacteria. Over time, bacteria leads to plaque and tartar buildup on your pet’s teeth. The result is bad breath, reddened gums, and other common signs of dental disease.Surgery
In our continuing efforts to offer the highest quality veterinary medicine, Aspen View Veterinary Hospital is pleased to provide a wide range of surgical services for our patients in Colorado Springs, CO, and surrounding areas. Best veterinary clinic I have ever taken my pets and friends’ pets to. The staff is knowledgeable on just about everything and if not they aren’t afraid to refer you to an expert. This was especially helpful when one of our fur babies got cancer and while we didn’t even know there were oncologist for animals they found one for us and while I’m sad to report our Dachshund did not beat it she was able to spend almost a year with us rather than a few months which I feel wouldn’t have happened without the wonderfully helpful caring people at Aspen View Vet. All 8 dogs of our family, including extended family friends go here because they treat everyone like family.
